Hrm...not much going on on my farmstead. Goats escaping, turkeys out in broad daylight because the pickings are so slim everywhere...anybuddy want to post a critter story? A hatching mission? Anything??
Well the Mr.Peeps Chicken Condo is Almost Done I have the Front Porch, vynal floor, nesting boxes(for the ladies) the roostin polls and the electric run to it. i have a few things to tidy up to day and I should be done . and ready to put their play pen (little Yard / Run ) up for when we are gone. been thinking of putting a Lil red light on the front porch so I would know the light was on in side / they were ok for winter weather ( and lets not forget the little swing for the front porch got to have that. but that may have to wait until spring as it is getting cold now and Mr. peeps needs his house.
well when I was a youngerest but old enough to understand what a red light ment. There where a couple living in the house behind us. When he was gone she had company!!! And there was a red light on the back porch. She should of had a revolving door put in. Her name was Ruby and the name fit.
Sandy I would hope most folks know what the red light is it was a funny for Mr.Peepers due to the hens that are due to arrive at the house soon we are hoping to have some chickys to we have toyed with a few signs for the Door as such "Peep's Play House" , "Peep's Pimp-in House" what do you think.
Name: Cheryl Eastern Ky Truth should be everpresent.
We have too many critters for our own good. I'll post a few pics.
These are 2 of our mares. The buckskin in front is Coffee. She is a Ky Mountain Pleasure and the chestnut in back is Godiva. She is a TWH. Her registered name is Ebony's Chocolate Beauty. They are both very good trail horses. The buckskin is still too thin. W weaned her foal and have had the hardest time trying to get any weight back on her.
