I have a few hoya plants in the apartment that are growing without sunlight. My growing conditions are also challenging. I am resigned to the fact that I will not ever have flowers with the plant lights and a indoor cat. I have some interesting looking leaves that I love.
Leaves and Flowers both...and dont forget Scent...I love the scents of Hoyas, they can be quite varied from lemony fresh, to musky to like actual perfume
Now see, I don't care as much about the flowers as the leaves, but I like the scent more than I like the leaves ... so....
Of course, I have only one plant that flowers, anyway - a lacunosa. Are there other (fairly easy to grow in bright light) hoyas that are scented and bloom easily?

I like both, but answered "leaves" since I see the leaves of the plants every day of the year. The flowers are a nice bonus, though, as is scent.
I think my absolute favorite Hoya leaves are those of H. villosa for its narrow, veined, felt-backed, wavy-edged leaves. I have a few other Hoyas that have cool leaves, as well, but the leaves of this plant have really caught my eye.

Here's an idea for you H. lacunosa lovers with limited space: grow a big pot with all the different clones together. I use Bulb Pots...and when you see all of the different sizes, shapes, colors of the leaves with the same fragrant flowers, it is really cool!
