Ok, so I saw that we have a database going - great ! I wanted to add some pics but ran into a slight issue. I am not up to date at all on the correct class, family and where each hoya came from at all. So I don't want to add a Hoya to the list without the correct info, leaving it blank. But I don't know what to put in there ? Help ?....

The only required fields are family: Apocynaceae

and sub-family: Asclepiadoideae

genus is, of course, Hoya. Don't sweat the rest of it. It can be added later. You can add details of how you grow yours in the comments area :))

Thanks Lee Anne ! I'll work on adding a few this week.

What happened to Asclepiadaceae ? I thought that was the sub-family ?
I'm certainly no expert though, just wondering... :)

I did a little googling and found this:

Quoting:According to APG II, the Asclepiadaceae is a former plant family now treated as a subfamily (subfamily Asclepiadoideae) in the Apocynaceae (Bruyns 2000).

I hope that makes more sense to you than it does to me :))
