Hello Everyone, My name is Regina and I along with the rest of you love and have been collecting Hoya's for several years now. DH and I have a small home on the west coast of Florida near West Palm Beach. We are now emptynesters and share our space with our best friend Frankie dog and 4 cats. I manage to grow all my hoya's out on the screened in Florida room and dream of building a shade house one day. I've enjoyed participating in trades in the past and have made many friends doing so and looking forward to making many more friends here. I enjoy chats, learning, swapping tips, and sharing all I can about these beautiful plants. Flowers leave some of their fragrance in the hand that bestows them. - Chinese proverb |

Hi Regina, good to see you here. Jan |

Welcome Regina! You're in good company here. We all love hoyas, and some of us are just downright obsessed with them. ![]() You've got all the magic words we love to hear in your introduction: "hoyas", "swapping", "dogs", "cats", etc., etc., so I know you'll fit in here very well. We had a "secret buddy swap" in the spring and are planning another for the early Autumn, and that's only a few weeks away! Its a great way of either expanding our collections or even just to get cuttings and grow them out as presents for others. I look forward to chatting more with you. Christine |

Hi Regina ... welcome! You will love it here! There are many really wonderful, friendly and helpful people on this forum. I live in Florida too and look forward to getting back home tomorrow night after being in California for the past eleven days. I bet you can grow many beautiful Hoyas and other plants in your area since you are so far south. I agree ... you will fit in well here, many of us are hoya lovers and critter lovers as well. |

Thanks again fore the warm welcome, and hello to fellow Floridians, hoya fans and pet lovers. Plantlady your not to far from me. Have you ever attended the Mounts Botanical Gardens spring or fall plant shows? I've enjoyed going in the past and hunting for new plants and tropicals. And of course scoring a hoya here and there ![]() Flowers leave some of their fragrance in the hand that bestows them. - Chinese proverb |
