It's all about choices.
It's been so long since I got to experience the arrival of new plants/cuttings...and today cuttings from Iris Marie Liddle arrived.... Shipped Tuesday from Oz, arrived in HNL yesterday for inspection and to me today. Thrilled with the order!!! My friends who ordered with me will have to wait until Tuesday before I can ship out FedEx.... Here is the average size of a cutting:

And here the are all snuggled in their hydroton and making roots....Thumb of 2011-07-03/AlohaHoya/3f4854

In my humble opinion anyone would be pleased to get cuttings like that. are the Liddle cuttings always that nice? What is the red one?

Red one could be H. siariae. When Iris has a run on a plant, she can't afford to cut such long cuttings....so it is a minimum of 2 nodes...but the majority are long!!! I leave all of the leaves on...unless they are huge, and then I cut them in half (the leaves)....

Last I heard Iris has the operation up for sale; hopefully whoever buys it will be as wonderful as the Liddles have been, and keep the operation as it is.

I too, had an order sent from Liddles last Tuesday or Wednesday for me and my Canadian group of hoya nuts. I just hope ours arrive looking as stupendous as yours Carol.

I think Iris must have taken the day off, because the APHIS prices are going way up starting end of June...and she got all of the orders out...or as many as she could. Yes...ours arrived in record time!!!!!- 5 days!!!

She does have the nursery up for sale...but told me she won't come down in the price.
GOOD. !!!!

Me too Lee Anne; being legislated back to work can't sit well with those who carry our mails. I said right away that I'm not going to track the package through the system, to save myself the stress ... well, that didn't work Rolling on the floor laughing

thanks for the idea of putting multiple cuttings into one pot of stones. Far fewer little pots sitting around taking up room!

Hurray!
