Oh wow Dom, that is a little beauty. Very delicate, and g o r g e o u s colour
How big (or should I say small) are those flowers in real life, much much smaller than the photo??
I was about to say Burnham Nurseries, but I guess you mean South America
Whats your secret to growing such lush and beautiful dischidias Dom?? I only have a couple, but they don't look like yours..
Hints and tips gratefully received
I dont find all of them easy Julie.only a few thrive for me here. When I have my new growing area finished I´ll try and grow more, in a better, more controlled environment. I hose mine down once a day and they grow outside. Some love it others dont
Name: Carol Noel Hawaii (near Hilo) It's all about choices.
D. astephana is not a very easy dischidia to grow....and certainly not THAT well!. Wow Dom....good JOB. I love my dischidia...the fairly common = easy to grow D. geri is a delight with grey leaves and copper new growth...very strong!!!!
It's been a very uncomplicated plant too. I got the in the middle of summer 2010. It started blooming this spring and has not stopped since. Very similar culture to most Hoyas.
I have a rooted cutting I can trade if if any one is interested . ..I looking for H. buotii, cinnamomifolia, and sheperdell ( the carnosa sheperdeii cross)...
Well I've been meaning to post pics of my Dischidia's for awhile now. Most are not ID'ed yet maybe you guys can help, but probably have to wait for them to bloom.
Right now most are numbered.

D. # 9 maybe polyphylla ? One of the Shingle types. Red Underside.
And Painfully slow growing.
S.O. made the mounting plaques for me and I'll be mounting more of the Dischidia's and some other plants on them.
I was thinking this one might be hirsuta, looks very much like it but not as fuzzy foliage.
Another Shingle type. Definitley different from #9 , which has a red underside
