Got 13 new babies to play with now. Yeah! Some are replacemnts...some I have never had before. Everything looks pretty good. Have them recouping now from the trip. Will try to get some pics later. She uses a different mix than me. They look good though so I will just try to leave them alone in it for now till they fill the pot with roots. I like those little clear pots. Wonder if I can find those around here?
I don't know how many you can do in one post so I will stop there for now. Those are, H. lacunosa 'Thai Clone', H. sp. 'Square Leaf', H. retusa, H. naumanii, H. vitiensis, and H. aff. parasitica 'Lao 2' (which is fast becoming a fav. )
Woops...forgot to say what they were. Ha. They are:
H. merrillii, H. neoebudica, H. lamingtoniae (PNG 1), H. fischeriana, H. dasyantha, and H. incrassata albomarginate (another one I love the looks of ).
I have never had that sq. leaf one before, and for some reason had it in my head that the leaves were much bigger. Is it just because it is a baby plant that those leaves are that size, or is that the typical size of them? Don't get me wrong, I think the plant is just darling and I like the size of them. It's just that I kept picturing it all wrong in my head when I would think of it as people talked about it.
Wow - Christmas has come early for one lucky girl
Nice haul there Marcy. I'd love to have vitiensis and dasyantha in my collection too.
Square leaves is small but beautiful - enjoy
Wow.... you got the mother load! Beautiful little collection you have there....
I REALLY LIKE the H. aff. parasitica 'Lao 2' .... another one for my list
