I have had this hoya for several years. I lost the tag last year when the wind blew the plants off a shelf and couldn't find the tag, might be under the deck but not going under there, ugg bugs. anyway it has bloomed for the first time so if anyone has any ideas I would appreciate it.
Looks like H. memoria to me. However it doesn't have very spotted leaves. Was that plant in the sun or bright light? Does it have any spotted or splotched leaves?
To me, the flowers look like H. sp. Harakku. But I think that this type of flower is fairly common among the unnamed sp.s, especially, like Dom said, maybe from Paul Shirley
Well I only had 1 pot of revoluta and that one still has the name in it. It was in very bright light so the leaves are probably a little washed out in the color, but they don't have any splotched leaves at all. I have a pot of harakku but the leaves don't look like those leaves. I thought the harakku leaves had a different shape.
My memoria is blooming and it is not the same.
Dom it didn't come from Paul Shirley that I know if, I received this as a cutting several years ago, so quite possibly could be. sigh, I hate when the labels disappear.
Could this possibly be H. litoralis? I had this at one time and thought I had lost it. Maybe I didn't and since it didn't have a tag maybe didn't realize that was it? I was surfing the net and came across it's picture and it looks like mine.
My H micrantha looks different, Carol. The leaves on mine are much stiffer and duller, and the flower more buff colored.will try and post a pic tomorrow
You may be on to something Christina. My inconspicua gets good light and a teensy bit of noonday sun and has leaves similar to Dees, but a far darker green. So, the high light it was in could explain the difference in the colour of the leaves.
Well Ihave never had inconspicua, at least not to my knowledge. This was a trade from several years ago. Oh well, guess I really won't know what I have for sure, still it is a pretty little plant.
