You might have noticed the little map showing up on the right hand side of the Hoya Cubits pages.
It shows, approximately with a little red dot, where all of our visitors and members are in the world.
I thought it might be a fun little addition
Janet over on the Bug Life Cubit discovered the feature

You and I are close, Dom...can't grow those either!!!! But I can grow bella if I leave it outdoors in 40" of cold rain over 3 weeks...if I ignore it!!!!
When I look at that map it feels like I'm the furthest north, at least of the ones I can see dots from... and I do grow bella and linearis with great results.
We're having frost at night right now so I guess winter is here...

I once grew a magnificent retusa....and Ted Green grows a beautiful one. The secret I think is growing it rather dry.... I am going to try again this spring.....
Does each person on the map have their own dot or if there is more than one person in the area, is there just one dot for all? My dot seems to always be yellow. What does that mean?
Having a second go with H retusa at the moment. Bought a good sized plant about 4 years ago, and it just declined.....got a small new one one the go now..Fingers crossed
Very Cool with the map !
H linearis is growing well for me,I kept it inside during the heat of summer, but it lives outside now. H. bella variegated is growing gangbusters. I grow her in a good bit of light, it's even getting some red veining. I'll try to take a pic. I got it from my neighbor and her's blooms mostly late winter early spring so that's when I'll be looking for blooms.
Haven't tried H. serpens yet.
