Well, at least it's not really ME this time ![]() A friend of mine recently bought this one, Tag said Hoya phochyelada.............ummm only thing I could come up with that was "remotely" spelled that way is H. pachyclada but that's stretching it. I told her the same thing I know you guys are going to say.......Probably gonna have to wait for the bloom. ![]() |

Where on earth did she find such a plant with such a bogus name???? ![]() ![]() The base and the apex fit H. pachyclada. Your friend would do the world a favor by letting the person know. Was it that russian fellow down there in Florida? Leap. The net will appear. |

Carol, No she got it in Tx. I know who she got it from and I suspect that there was a spelling issue somewhere along the way as the seller, while not really into Hoya's, does have a large nursery selling Tropicals. I'm pretty sure if he knew it was incorrect that he would fix it. Thanks I will let her know. Now of course I want one, I really like the foliage on it. ![]() |

Zone 9 Tropicals? Pachy is extremely succulent...roots rot easily from overwatering. Great fragrance!!! Leap. The net will appear. |

Miller's...nice people. I've passed on the info to her. She's a very nice retired lady who I think is trying to grow every conceivable plant in the world ![]() |
