I hope you enjoy it as much as I have... doesnt go into great detail but the photos are great and I really liked it! I just ordered the Hoya telegraph magazine today,... Looking forward to receiving that too!
Lynn, I really like the German book by Somadee and Kuhne (that name needs an umlaut) - it has 200 species and many habitat pictures and much more information than the Swedish one. I don't really read German but I can pick out a few bits. If they ever translate this it will be a huge hit!
I ordered the HoyaTelegraph too; I wonder when its coming?
I wish these books were available on web. Sometimes when I come across an article in german and deutsch(?right spelling) the my computer gives me option to translate it in English and then I get it all in English. This is one of the luxuries of life with the help of computer.........I do not know if the text is automatic translation or someone labored to put that translation on web.
Anyway...gorgeous pics....making me crave for ALL of them.
David, I think I was one of the first to order Surisas book. I know German quite well, so I was looking forward to the challlenge... and I enjoy every minute of learning more German. There are some errors in it, but they are easy to overlook.
Thanks for the info on the books Dave. I already have the Genus Hoya book, so I just ordered the other one. Can't wait to get it. Don't be showing me anything else to buy while I am in the hospital, I will be broke when I leave. Don't know if it is a good thing they have Internet connection in here.
I got the German book this weekend. Wow the photo's are excellent. I am now going to have to start a word document and do some translating as I don't speak German and would like to know what there thoughts on the different hoyas are.
