It's all about choices.

Carol, Italians must have found out that your plants grow so well .Take it as a compliment . :lol
But no matter what,it does sound crazy....1000 of each variety......I hope they were not expecting you to send rooted. I would faint from shock if I saw that big order for rooted ones. Rolling on the floor laughing

I have no idea who in the world could do it...maybe one of the Chinese or Thai growers who grow MASSES of hoyas from tissueculture....

In Heaven there is no beer, that is
Really interested in the tissue culture the Thai growers are doing. We have a lab but have only been able to clone spartioides and it has done very well. I think Ted has done a few others but they dont take to it readily.. tissue culture is fairly easy (I think), so if it can be done, what a difference that would make. As it is, I'm hearing that tissue culture labs in Asia are putting the orchid nurseries out of business. Especially the local nurseries in Hawaii, but also on mainland.
A real pity, but business is business I guess.
Dorothy.
