It's all about choices.
I remember, back in the day, when you could get some good deals on ebay.... WHOA. This evening I found someone selling H. carnosa seeds.... ONE SEED for 4.50. ONE!!!! Are they NUTS? WHoot WHoot!!!! Then someone else put up a plant with really really sick looking leaves; looked like a fungal outbreak.

Some of the old guard are still there: Cowboyflowerman (Jodie is a really good grower and a nice guy), TheHoyan (......)....but I am totally turned off putting anything up there. How does everyone else feel?

Leap. The net will appear.

Carol I went to look for the hoya seed but couldn't find it. It must have sold or was pulled off.

Personally I'm super weary about purchasing anything on e bay.. Though I have found good deals on things like cell phone chargers &screen protectors. I think you could possibly choose to provide quality plants in a market where that is lacking. (with a few words to reassure customers, you would never sell anyone an unhealthy plant or cutting.) If you want to spare the time, it doesn't hurt to try. (does it?)

I have purchased so many things on Ebay Drooling

I always check 'lowest' first, and there is a trick to bidding that I use, so I most often get rock-bottom price/shipping. Rarely I get a 'buy now' item. It has to be worth the price.

One must be careful... I test a seller with a small item/order first if it's something I will be buying a lot of, like jewelry gems/findings.

It helps to buy more if the seller offers $1 ship on extra items.

I just bought my first Hoya on Ebay - from Jodie for under $6 with good shipping.

Can't wait for my H. obovata to arrive!
