Your plants WILL tell you what they like, if we just pay attention... ![]() I hung H. curtisii out in my shade house, on the E side where she got the sun full on in the morning, but thru shade cloth. Looking at her yesterday, she was 'pointing' to the shade...that's where she wanted to grow. So...I moved her! In the winter I will move her back because the sun will not be as stong. ![]() Ditto for a H. acuta hanging but with no shade cloth...she wanted to go 'inside'.... ![]() Please excuse the messy shade house...major work in there now ![]() Guess which side of this H. obovata leaf was getting the most light? ![]() Leap. The net will appear. |

I have Hoya nummularoides and mathilde doing this even though they are in much shadier and cooler place than rest of plants. Both trying to get into the covered porch and are full of aerial roots .I do not blame them,it was 93 degree F temp today, without rain. Extremely humid out there. |
