I ordered this Hoya on line & it was sold as a "silver pink" I don't think this is it's correct name and more a description of the flower color. I'm hoping someone might know which this is. It's a great plant with large long green with lighter green spotted leaves. It's been doing great, a lot of new growth since it arrived about 2 months ago.![]() ![]() |

Melann...the name is H. pubicalyx 'Pink/Silver...just one of many clones of H. pubicalyx. The blooms should be pink with silver edging, though colour varies greatly due to temperature, light, humidity, etc. Welcome to Cubit's Hooked on Hoyas! Fondly, Patrick |

Alka, Thanks for pointing out my name and location were not coming up...I did go in & fix that ![]() Carol, I have been addicted to hoya's for a long time now. I just recently bought a house with a nice little area for me to keep my addiction. Of course I really didn't know anything about hoya's when I started. Took a clipping off my mom's plant & killed it ![]() From my research I stumbled onto Doug's webpage vermonthoyas.com. & he was the one to point me in the direction of this forum (thanks Doug & again great website, love all the info you have to share) I also have a Chelsea, Rubra, Hindu rope & snow caps (that's what the tag said, but from reading & think it is actually called Lacunos) and has so far been my only bloomer...these 4 were all bought at the local Walmart & Lowes. As of last week I ordered Ruthie, Affiinis, Thomsonii, Calycina & Chinghungensis and am eagerly waiting for them to arive I love all my plants and they seem to be doing well, can't wait to have more pictures to post. Again thanks for the Welcome!!! |
