Beautiful MJ. It looks like mindorensis can bloom many times on a peduncle from the looks of all the rings - very nice.

I rarely have hoyas bloom for me, and this one is a rather new acquisition, so I'm pretty excited to see it flower, and it smells like delicious caramel! (nectar tasted yummy too!) *Blush*

Variegated H. DS-70 (EPC-538)

And H. thomsonii 'splash leaf' (I don't know the proper name) is beginning to bud and hopefully will open soon.

Beautiful Lali! Julie, congrats on your engleriana blooms - the size of the blooms compared to the size of the leaves is huge! I never heard of Hoya pandurata, which is lovely as well. Carol, beautiful flowers as always!

Doug,

Engleriana has tiny flowers - but I suppose the leaves are pretty tiny too!! They always seem to be in 4's, no more, no less Smiling

Pandurata is one that you should add to your collection - much like a small lobbii, and sweetly but lightly scented.
A better picture for you.Thumb of 2012-08-03/JulieK/f32611

This is just a rooted cutting - flowered within 6 weeks of rooting - my kind of hoya Big Grin

Beautiful pandurata.....I like the lime green contrast with yellow and also the corona part.
This is a good picture for database . There is no picture of this one in database right now.

Here is a photo of Hoya lasiantha (Thank you Dee!), which just bloomed. All but two of the buds blasted, but at least it bloomed. I will eventually move this plant over to semi-hydro as I suspect it would do far better for me using that growing method.

Here is a comparison photo showing an H. lasiantha bloom with a bloom of its close relative praetorii.

Thats lovely Doug, and such a great comparison!! I didn't realise lasiantha blooms were that much bigger than praetorii! Nice Hurray!

And Julie I have had my pandurata ove a year and it has only produced 2new leaves Angry

Doug I am glad that lasantha has bloomed for mine keep blasting, it is budding again for the 3rd time and the buds keep dropping. Wonder if it is all this rain we are having, every day.

Thanks Julie! Dee, I'm sorry that your lasiantha keeps blasting buds, but glad that its not just me. I had nine buds on that peduncle that were huge, and after I soaked the plant they all started falling off. It was painful to watch Confused I think the buds must be very susceptible to uneven watering.
