I know i'm a whole year late with these photos,, but I only joined the group a few months ago!!!!!

These are all flowers from my collection that bloomed last season. I am only posting a portion of what bloomed as the threads going to be long as is. I hope everyone enjoys the show!!!!

these first 2 pics are of the same hoya (archboldiana IML 0414 white form) these were taken at different times last year and as you can see it bloomed white once and then pink

H. bicolor ( I got this from Ted Green) seems to be a low grower for me but blooms reliably every year and I love it's flowers.

Thanks all for the nice comments about the flowers.

This "collection" has almost become like a full time job now except I don't get paid to do it!!!! It's very time consuming and demanding. The only difference is at home i'm the boss and at work I have someone who watches over me!!! I have a 9-5 (usually longer) that I go to 5 days a week where I manage a kitchen and am the head cook. I won't call myself a chef because i've never been to culinary school to become certified. I have been on the same job for 18 years though so apparently I know what i'm doing!!!! I don't mind the hard work of maintaining such an extensive collection though because I don't really think of it as work. For me it's my main source of relaxation and (therapy) when I need it!!!! My gh looks like a jungle when the hoyas are moved back inside and I have 4 water features at different locations throughout the gh so I can hear water flowing no matte where i'm at.Just the sound of gentle flowing water is very relaxing in itself. Many times I have sat out there and gotten so relaxed that I almost fallen asleep sitting upright in a chair. I'd love to have a hammock hanging in there but there's just not enough room left for one. Aside from that the mosquitoes in South Carolina are so bad that if I fel asleep out there i'd look like a stick figure when they got done with me!!!

It's all about choices.
David...you lead an ideal life!!! And I understand from others who have bought hoyas from you that your hoyas are well grown, too.
Leap. The net will appear.
