Thanks all for the nice comments about the flowers. This "collection" has almost become like a full time job now except I don't get paid to do it!!!! It's very time consuming and demanding. The only difference is at home i'm the boss and at work I have someone who watches over me!!! I have a 9-5 (usually longer) that I go to 5 days a week where I manage a kitchen and am the head cook. I won't call myself a chef because i've never been to culinary school to become certified. I have been on the same job for 18 years though so apparently I know what i'm doing!!!! I don't mind the hard work of maintaining such an extensive collection though because I don't really think of it as work. For me it's my main source of relaxation and (therapy) when I need it!!!! My gh looks like a jungle when the hoyas are moved back inside and I have 4 water features at different locations throughout the gh so I can hear water flowing no matte where i'm at.Just the sound of gentle flowing water is very relaxing in itself. Many times I have sat out there and gotten so relaxed that I almost fallen asleep sitting upright in a chair. I'd love to have a hammock hanging in there but there's just not enough room left for one. Aside from that the mosquitoes in South Carolina are so bad that if I fel asleep out there i'd look like a stick figure when they got done with me!!! |

David...you lead an ideal life!!! And I understand from others who have bought hoyas from you that your hoyas are well grown, too. Leap. The net will appear. |
