Hi I've had this hoya for about 10 years. I bought it as a small starter plant and I've forgotten the name. She has never bloomed for me so I can't tell you what color the flowers are. The leave are a nice deep dark green like the second leaf image. The spots in the phots are water spots. The bigger leaves are ~ 4-5" long and under 2.5" in diameter.

I'd appreciate your input!

Thanks,
Coralee

it looks like an incredibly lush H obscura to me. If it is, some bright light / light sunshine should help it flower :)
Has anyone got any other ideas?

Are there different Obscura crosses? My leaves are a pretty dark green with no hint of red but then it never really gets any direct sun. It sat for years on one side of my south bank of windows
so some leaves were brushed with just a bit of direct sun with the sunrise.

yes there are several different clones and hybrids.
I have one with similar leaves to yours, but pinkish/apricot flowers.
I remember a truely stunning red leaved one that someone posted on here...to die for Lovey dubby

It's all about choices.
I'm going to guess H. australis ssp. tenuipes (or one of the many seedlings of same running around). Since it probably is going to be a fairly commonly found hoya...definitely not carnosa or pubicalyx...
Leap. The net will appear.

Could it be Hoya lacunosa? I think I got this a year or so after my pubicalyx bloomed and I know I was after some white flowers at the time.

Definitely NOT H. lacunosa.H. lacunosa has 'lacunose' leaves which are leaves with small dimples between the lateral veins.

Come to think of it...it looks a lot like a seedling of H. australis called Ms. G - slightly smaller leaves, very green, shorter internodes (than the species H. australis).Thumb of 2013-01-27/AlohaHoya/301ade
