Just purchased on Ebay, seller only knew it as Hoya. Leaves are very thick. Also, thanks everyone for sharing your knowledge, succeses, and failures. I have learned so much from you all. I'm usually silent but always reading here and GW.

I'm still gonna guess H. carnosa...but I don't know it to bloom yellow. Perhaps it is a seedling from a cross.... Gotta wait for a bloom to tell...leaves can be so deceiving... For instance... Here are 3 leaves from 2 plants...same plant (one is a clone of the other)...the first two small ones are from the same plant... The smallest leaf is 8centimetres long....and the longest one is 21.5cms (3.5 inches). If you were to describe this plant...would you say it has small leaves or large leaves?
So, that's why it's nearly impossible to ID from leaves.
Knowing that it has clear sap does narrow it down to a few that have clear sap, namely H. carnosa, H. pubicalyx, H. dasyantha (but as far as I know they are all pink bloomers).
It's also possible that the person you bought it from has color impairment...and maybe sees white as cream?...

If they know it is yellow flowering...why don't they put a picture up of it...or send you the picture. I would ask for it or at least a link to where they found it was yellow flowering...
It wasn't a seller in FL with a Russian name, was it?

Hmmmm. Interesting...wouldn't have thought H. incrassata but if it IS, you have a winner!!!!
Olesya...There is a fellow in FL with a very Russian name who (used to?) sells Hoyas and from all I have seen of his website, they are so mislabeled as to be comical. He wrote a book which I bought (silly me...) just to see what he had done...which was simply a list of all the Hoyas in IPNI and a few pictures...no information. He used to participate in a forum I belonged to (Daves Garden?, GardenWeb?) and he had names like HoovesNHorns ...a strange fellow.
Humm, that's interesting. I got one many years ago that looks very similar labelled incrassata....it's never flowered for me, so it's just left at the backif the greenhouse.
I'll take a pic later if I get a chance..
