Zoe...all of these are very (either) new or hard to find or exotic species and if you found them outside of Australia you would be dogged if you could import them without spending a fortune. Your very best best is to get hold of Iris Marie Liddle in Mareeba - you really MUST find them there. Good luck. Leap. The net will appear. |

If I can find anywhere else, outside the Australia I have a back-up plan. I asked Liddle, Iris don't have them or maybe not available... I don't know... Thanks for your answer... Hope I'm gonna have some luck.. At some point :) |

We have H. spartioides, H.darwinii and H.platycaulis . Check out http://www.rare-hoyas.com. We are in Hawaii so not sure what you're back up plan might be. Ted does not know what the other plants you mentioned are. Cheers and good luck . , Dorothy. Dorothy. |

H. mappigera is 1) extremely hard to find/grow. 2)rarely blooms. 3)blooms last 3-4 hours. = not worth my time. I used to like a challenge and after killing H. linearis 4 times I have focused my efforts on ease and beauty. Leap. The net will appear. |

Well... As you know, when a person have bitten by hoya bug, there is no end... I don't know whether it is worth to do it or not but I really wanna try at least once.. :D I'm trying to figure it out if I can able to import some species from overseas. Which looks pretty difficult :( The only thing i really doesn't like being in here... I cannot collect different species from different collections :( |
