Patella I have is much lighter in color. May be it will get better as it matures. Your bella also looks very pretty.

Very nice!!!! Patella, like all Hoyas, can bloom a stronger or lighter color ....not consistent!!!!!!

Carol...it may be that what I thought was my globulosa is indeed villosa!!

Maria Bostram just posted a picture of her globulosa flowers and so has Doug. They all look pretty similar to me. I think it would need closer scientific examination to see if there were any differences.

There do seem to be differences in the leaves though. Villosa has wavy edged leaves and globulosa doesn't!

Anyone else got anything to add?? Ears perked up! Ears perked up!

Hi Julie...I agree with you ....the difference between these two hoyas is their leaves and the waviness of them...or lack of it. Otherwise, they seem to be virtually the same. Both are certainly worth growing. Fondly, Patrick
