I am new here so slap me hard if I miss step.

In 2007 I bought a H. Pallida from Gardino. Here it is today and the flower:

Plicata to fill in a hole. I bought it from Kartuz (no photo on site) and it arrived yesterday. It is the same plant as above labeled as H. Plicata. So I did a deep dive on the .net. I had done my homework before the purchase and this is not what I expected. This is what the Ausies call a H. Plicata.

Continues.....
^^--what I expected
Notice the texture of the leaf and the color in this photo. These 2 Hoya are NOT the same. Then I proceeded to dig on the net again...seems the Ausies ID it as Placita. The US sellers and info hubs ID pics are of the Pallida.

Now if you are not totally confused yet. I did find some super old post in regards to the Placita with photos purchased from Joni at SRQ Hoyas. One of the Goddesses of Hoya and was right in my hometown!! It was shown as: Thumb of 2023-01-27/SunshineAnnie/6f8b63
I totally trust the named qualified personalities in the situation and the venders as well. Been doing biz with them all foreva.

Beyond all of the above I am totally confused....any thoughts

I don't believe the owners of this Cubit are active on here anymore, it's been a few years since they have posted.

You may want to try your questions over at the National Garden Association. https://garden.org/
