It's all about choices.
I find that rooting when the leaves drop can be done. My only suggestion for rooting right now is to keep them under lights for at least 14 hours... When the days get shorter plants automatically slow down their systems... Except for dire emergencies, I don't root between Nov-Feb as I only have natural light to work with....
