It's all about choices.
Melann...as a grower I would like to offer this suggestion...for what it is worth-

There are so many growers/suppliers in the USA (without the shipping $$$ and the shipping time) to buy cuttings from, why don't you consider buying some of the more usual cuttings from local suppliers and the exotic ones from foreign suppliers...if you can't get them locally. With a local supplier you have more of a chance of getting a cutting that has been raised in an environment more compatible with yours: shipping from a tropical environment, dAAAAAYs in the mail to an indoor environment is a shock toplants... not only do they have to root, but they have to root in totally foreign circumstances. Local growers are available and willing to help you thru problems....

Often, ordering from overseas, you are also introducing foreign pathogens...

I am not dissing ordering from foreign sellers...but sometimes it can be a waste of $$$ and energy....ALL things are NOT equal.

I understand that it is exotic and exciting to receive a box from overseas where Hoyas grow...but sometimes it is a lot of hype ... and you might be better off ordering from closer to home....
Leap. The net will appear.
