This isn't the one we know as 'Krimson Princess'. I got this from Bob Smoley many years ago, sent a piece to Carol a few years later and she showed it to DL who confirmed the ID. (I had my doubts about the ID because we typically think of 'KP' when we hear the name rubra...) It's one that grows well, blooms early. Older leaves turn very succulent. Mine got too large, needed a good whacking back this spring, so I have plenty to share for postage. I also have others for sale, but I'd be happy just to find good homes for all these rubras that rooted so nicely! See the photo below.
