It's all about choices.
...about growing that great family of all the hoyas with lightgreen leaves with dark green markings...that kinda look like H. callistophylla. David Liddle has said never to let it grow dry....but the really secret is a very fast draining mix and watering almost every other day! When I changed their mix to almost all Hydroton (or something chunky) some bark. when I hose down the plants in the mid day heat of summer ...just a spritz...I water those well about every 2 or 3 days. They like to be wet/damp but in well drained media.... As a result I have had almost constant blooming all spring and summer, with multiple blooms. I also grow them in fairly high light......
