It's all about choices.
I have noticed that there are a number of 'new to hoya' growers, and thought I would make some suggestions:

There's a lot of information out there on growing tropical houseplants...and also information about the 'parts' of plants and their names. There is excellent information here on HonH ... and you all might read everything you can re: how plants grow, how epiphytes grow, names of the parts of plants etc. With this information in hand (head?) you will be way ahead in understanding identifications and growing problems - helpful when seeing a hoya for sale and knowing, generally, if you already have it or not.... Growing hoyas is not so much knowing how hoyas grow but knowing the needs and conditions of tropical plants out of their comfort zones.....
