Usually if my hoyas grow a white leaf...or 2 ...or 6...I just leave them alone as I think they are pretty. However, I have heard they are detrimental to the plant in some way. Now I have 2 plants that seem to have completely stopped growing as they grew white leaves at the the growing tips. The first one is this cute little H. australis 'variegata'  The other one is a small plant of H. macrophylla 'variegata'  After growing these white leaves, I have not noticed any other leaves being formed. I hate to cut them off. Do you think I sould just wait it out till next season & see...or get out the axe?  |
