Great post!Ive tried growing sh with hydroton in clear glass containers with drain holes 1 inch from the bottom, but it seemed like there was too much condensation around the sides of the glass, and the roots slowly rotted.I want to try again,so here a few questions.1:Will a hoya that is already growing in soil make a good candidate for sh?2:When rooting cuttings, are they out in the open,or do you put a bag over them for extra humidity?3:do hoys started in sh for a time then transplanted into reg mix do better than staying in sh?and finally, have you ever used growstones brand rocks and your thoughs about them for sh.I hear the ph is a little on the high side...I have some black containers I want to drill holes in and use for sh containers.Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated!
