| Great info Carol. I had no clue...I knew the letters all mean something, but most of this is new too me. Hoya has been my favorite flower since I was a little girl, but up until about 3 years ago I only knew of the Carnosa as this is what mom had hanging in the front entry & I fell in love with. Once I found out they come in other colors & sizes I've been determined to get as many as I have room for...time to get a bigger house. I actually got my first Hoya from my grandma almost 2 years ago. She bought me a Rubra at Wal-Mart, this is still one of my favorites. The leaves and vines are so pretty, but still no flowers. But I am now up to 42 & growing. They are so much fun :) |
