We mount ours on the trees at about waist level.

Other than getting WHITE photos, does the snow bother your cameras?

We had a problem with one of ours last year because the seal on it wasn't right. Lots of foggy photos and the interior of the thing was very moist. It was one that Moultrie had already replaced because the color wasn't right - everything was way off. Seems they sent a newer model and the seal wasn't as tight as it was on the first one. The digital display went out and we had to send it back to them. They replaced it again.

I know you build your own cameras. Do you do anything special to make sure they are sealed and waterproof?
