|My brother, sister and I went down to Seward on the Kenai Peninsula for a day trip ... chasing the ghosts of childhood mainly, and to visit life long friends there. We were a little late meeting up with some friends out on Lowell point. Right on the way into town, I saw this brownie sauntering along the edge of Resurrection River. This is about a half mile from Ava's place (akfishergal) for those of you who know her here on Cubits. Well, I couldn't pass up this quick opportunity so, I pulled the car over ran through the brush and got these shots from about 100 feet away. I was in a hurry and wish I had more time, I probably could have taken pictures there for an hour or more ... this young bear wasn't interested in anything but the fish. Well, I got what I got and here are are few samples. I hope to get down there again soon and will see if more opportunities like this "present themselves." Enjoy.
