sheryl wrote:Deb, do you use the fabric wrist braces? I've thought about picking some up, I have a definite problem carpal tunnel too.
I think coping with it is much like what I do for my back - change positions often, raise and lower the painting, stand, sit, perch... I suppose it is all a matter of degree, though - yours might be much worse than mine.
OOPS, I missed this! Yes, I use the "wrist braces" whenever the Carpal Tunnel kicks in. It's not bad enough to warrant surgery, it comes and goes. Usually starts aggravating me in the winter if I'm knitting or painting and then in the spring and summer when I'm weeding, digging or using scissors a lot. I can deal with it and the braces definitely help but it's still a pain
Pam, speaking of Carpal Tunnel, my wrists hurt just looking at your beading work but your creations are wonderful! The intricate design in the bracelet you made in FL is incredible! I think I'd probably be all thumbs with those tiny little beads.
Sounds good. I've been looking at the container gardening forums and getting a lot of ideas for planters I can make next year. I can do a lot of neat stuff in terra cotta.
I didn't see that. But somehow it has to be easy to find the cubits that have things for sale. People aren't always searching for any thing in particular, they need it to pass in front of them.

Holly, If you are watching this forum, you should be sure to tell Deb to go over to Dave's forum and check out the new store front. Since her cubit is already set up, she may want to sell her yarn creations there using this new system.
Thanks Stormy, I didn't even think of that. I will let her know. She hasn't been on line much at all this summer. She has been working on her Photography and spending some of her time at the local State Park with a big lake and nice shady spots. Plus helping her Grandfather.
Judy, Thanks so much for the link I will check it out. I love reading about diving.

I will have to check it out then. Would love to offer up some of my stuff...but I'm definetly working on my photography more this summer. I really am enjoying it.
