I wish the high heat *would* sterilize the soil - hasn't happened for me yet, I have a *ton* of sow's thistle growing in my GH.

I saw this set up in a greenhouse cubit that no one is posting in. It"s pretty neat. The guy rolls it out in the day and tucks it back into the garage on cold nights. Pretty ingenious. Thumbs up

It's a shame that Greenhouse cubit went inactive. There's a link to it further back in this thread.

So this is just for you smokers.
We were on a bus trip a few weeks ago with the HGHA and one of the members Liz is a smoker. She and Ric were taking their smoke breaks together and she got a kick out of his rolling his own smokes. So at the Picnic last weekend she brought him some tobacco plants. He is going to put them in the Veggie Garden. We will see if he harvests and dries any of it. Hilarious!

Don't know. Let's see if he wants to build a tobacco barn next Thumbs down
I am pleased that both of my son's and my daughter in law have quit. Just Ric and my oldest daughter are still smoking.

Interesting - I wonder how much difference there is in health effects between home-grown and heavy-additive stuff.

The first of my flowering tobacco opened today.
Anyone know if the ''real'' tobacco has a good smelling flower?
or do they harvest it before it flowers?
