There are quite a few really nice wineries in the Mid Atlantic. Most welcome visitors and provide some form of tasting and often have nice scheduled activities. What are some of your favorite wineries?

There's a great winery in Chadd's Ford Pa. It is located in Chester County PA very close to the Delaware Border. They have excellent wine at this Winery. I particularly like the Proprietor's reserve Chardonay. They have a lot of nice fun events at the winery. It's located right next door to an antique mall that is open Thursday thru Sunday. This whole area is a beautiful area to explore. The Brandywine River Museum and the Brandywine National Battlefield are just up the road. Just a few miles further are Longwood Gardens and Winterthur is a few short miles across the Delaware Border.

Their harvest festival is coming up on Sept 25th & 26th.

Since I'm not a wine drinker I don't frequent any but my sis and bro in law have been to a couple in bucks County they liked. Here are a few that might be of interest to someone:drool:

It happens in a flash, but the memory of it last forever. It can not be borrowed or stolen, and it is of no earthly good until it is given away. So if in your hurry you meet someone who is too weary to smile, leave him one of yours, for no one needs a smile quite as much as he who has none to give...

That's a really nice list Ronnie. I have been to the New Hope Winery as well as the Peace Valley one. But both trips were quite a few years back.
