I do that too Stormy...these are a but too small to split them though.
I picked up some yellow and red snaps this morning, Sophie is into red all of a sudden, she picked them out, the leaves are a real nice dark green with a reddish tint. I'll have to go back since I forgot my $10 off coupon Shucks, that stinks

I have often found particularly with Perennials that buying gallon to 3 gallon ones & cutting them apart is more cost effective and provides you with more mature stable, garden ready plants than ordering the small ones, which are often seedlings that barely survive their journey.
I completely stopped ordering from Bluestone as I never had a shipment arrive without at least one of every selection dead.
People say we'll that's OK because they will replace them. Well, it's not OK. Sometimes they are then on back order or not available at all. Plus, my time is more valuable than having to spend it on the phone trying to resoive things like that.
That is too funny Sheryl.
Ronnie, Are you doing pots of just Snaps, or will they be mixed with other things?

Storm, I'm not sure on the snaps I like to mix things when I can. I wasn't planning on them but couldn't resist when I saw them
I've never ordered from Bluestone. They seem very popular though. I don't have the patience for perennials, so I'd rather buy local and get them larger. I'm pretty lucky we have quite a few garden centers that offer a lot of nice things.
Sheryl everyone should have at least one type of seed in their purse
Why can't I remember this...is it safe to bring out my tropical hibiscus outside. I can't remember when I did it last year we were so busy closing the shop and getting ready for Joey's wedding it seems like a fog

Its so tempting but try this--think that when they o out they need shade at first, and you hardly get shade until the trees leaf out. So that is keeping me from jumping the gun. Last year my plumeria got black tip from going out too early.
