It happens in a flash, but the memory of it last forever. It can not be borrowed or stolen, and it is of no earthly good until it is given away. So if in your hurry you meet someone who is too weary to smile, leave him one of yours, for no one needs a smile quite as much as he who has none to give...

I had a friend that threw a party every year in the Phila. Zoo bird house. Then the zoo changed it to the Monkey House and finally the reptile house. They were fun, but the snakes were unappetizing. Hilarious! Hilarious! Beautiful bird shots, Deb! Thumbs up

ty...i thought it might be fun to do a bday for JR there...Jamie said we'd see...have to see who would be interested. TY:) I tried. Its hard to get some shots, the glass and the wire mesh...very annoying. Mostly my issues were the amt of people. Most were there just for trick or treating. I didn't realize that was going on...or we may have gone sunday instead.

Cool photos from the zoo Debbie! I can spend hours at the zoo!

I went home to visit my Mom this past weekend. Though it was past peak color, the autumn leaves still looked pretty!

It's really amazing how differently weather is affecting the foliage this year in different places. I saw some beautiful foliage yesterday just 15 minutes away, but no significant color change right in my area yet.

I like that shot Karen Thumbs up I love the natural shots of people, kids especially compared to the posed ones.

The girls are at that stage right now, that if I ask them to smile for the camera, I get the fake, pasted on smile! Ggrrrrr!!! Grumbling I prefer the natural smile and natural look too!

Not with any passion yet. They will use one of our older digital cameras when on an outing or vacation, but they are just as quick to go without the camera too.

I remember being that age and never wanting to have to carry anything. Maybe that is a part of it.

I was about 12 when I got my first camera, a 110 Instamatic something or other. I think I took it everywhere. I get excited when Sophie my GD asks to play with mine.

Nice photo captured of the girls! Thumbs up

When I was searching for Halloween pictures of the kids' costumes, I came across this one. Thought it was appropriate to post today since I had labeled it "Halloween Tree"! Hilarious! The photo was taken at a botanical garden in Kentucky - doesn't it look like a green monster right out of a scary movie? Blinking Thumb of 2010-10-31/rcn48/fe82d4
