It happens in a flash, but the memory of it last forever. It can not be borrowed or stolen, and it is of no earthly good until it is given away. So if in your hurry you meet someone who is too weary to smile, leave him one of yours, for no one needs a smile quite as much as he who has none to give...

I only have a vague recollection of it.

But I really remember those marbles. My brother was a great marble collector.

Thanks for the new thread Ronnie!

My bro was 3 yrs older too and OMG did he ever torture me. Hilarious! Hilarious! But he used to give me the common marbles that he had duplicates of. I was a bit too young to be any good at them. By the time I got old enough to be good with them, he'd moved on to something else, like yoyo's.

That's another game that I vaguely remember. I think that I remember some of these games because my sister who is 10 years younger than me had them.

We loved playing Password.

my mom and I used to play Othello and we had another similar game with magnets (can't remember the name)... and the pieces flipped over to the other persons color .. you could flip the magnet base around to change it up... but there were still only 4 patterns and we memorized it after a while

Most of these games were popular after I was a kid. LOL We grew up with checkers, chinese checkers, pegs and as we got older chess. We did play with Pick up Sticks.
