My bro was 3 yrs older too and OMG did he ever torture me. But he used to give me the common marbles that he had duplicates of. I was a bit too young to be any good at them. By the time I got old enough to be good with them, he'd moved on to something else, like yoyo's.

my mom and I used to play Othello and we had another similar game with magnets (can't remember the name)... and the pieces flipped over to the other persons color .. you could flip the magnet base around to change it up... but there were still only 4 patterns and we memorized it after a while
