A dryad is a wood sprite, a wood fairy. Not wooden, wood like in forest. I felt I needed to clarify that. LOL Actually, I was just kidding. I don't have anything against gnomes, trolls or any of the above. And I mean a person with a red hat, not one of Bec's native gnomes. LOL I think I prefer a less gentle form of garden whimsy than gnomes.

He's a cutie!!
It happens in a flash, but the memory of it last forever. It can not be borrowed or stolen, and it is of no earthly good until it is given away. So if in your hurry you meet someone who is too weary to smile, leave him one of yours, for no one needs a smile quite as much as he who has none to give...
Always loved garden gnomes, I've got 2 and the wife has put the brakes on my collection, I guess she's afraid of it getting out of control and looking tacky. So might have to get my fix by adding a few tree faces around the property something like these: https://www.gardenandpatiohomeguide.com/tree-faces-the-easie...
Thinking I might add them and not tell and see if she notices. As they say it's easier to ask for forgiveness than permission. Or something like that!
Those certainly are unique! I'm personally not a fan of garden gnomes, but those tree faces are intriguing. I'm liking the one that seems to be a bird feeder!
