It happens in a flash, but the memory of it last forever. It can not be borrowed or stolen, and it is of no earthly good until it is given away. So if in your hurry you meet someone who is too weary to smile, leave him one of yours, for no one needs a smile quite as much as he who has none to give...

ROFL- Great movie poster for high summer! I love the second half of Jaws too- the on the boat part, Dreyfuss and the other two guys, the drinking scene, and the different personalities.
We started Still Walking (subtitled Japanese) last night but both were tired and we were falling asleep It looks interesting, in a "fly on the wall of a Japanese family" sort of way. The spoken Japanese language if so ooo different in sounds from our western languages- it was actually sort of distracting me. I don't remember having that problem with Departures which was very good.

I know my BIL wouldn't tolerate them either. I'm glad my hubby can deal with them. He got up early this morning and we both worked in the yard all day so we didn't try the movie tonight either.

yes we could get very confused and not be able to focus on the subtitles. OK, Foreign Films night is recovery night after Wine "Tasting" and Barbs Son's Wedding Story

We bought it. We buy most movies. We'll always watch them a few times and if we really enjoy them, we'll watch them more. The closest movie theater is over an hour away, so we don't go to theaters any more.

Wow, that is a haul Pam. We don't go to the theater anymore either due to DSO's health condition. i usually wait iuntil they are on RedBox or come on TV. I used to buy a lot of movies but gave that up when I bought some premium TV channels and got digital on demand service.

[We saw The Adjustment Bureau in theatre and liked it a lot. Based on a sci fi book. But not with aliens, just a different reality, and a suspense kind of story.

We'll watch on demand once in awhile if the movie doesn't have stars in it that we know. lol - for us, that is usually a sign not to buy the movie.
We watched Red Riding Hood last night. Interesting story, but we were glad we
didn't buy that one.
I agree, Matt Damon is very good. We love the Bourne movies.

the Bourne movies. Us too, Thats about when I decided I liked Damon a lot.
Speaking of Damon how bout Ben Affleck? I thought he was the hunkier back when they first hit big. Then he got goofy. But few months ago we watched a movie, Affleck stars and I believe he directed too, it was pretty good. About some guys in Southie (of Boston, gang ish area) planning a big heist....

That was The Town, I believe with Affleck (lol - I hear the duck's voice).
I don't like many of his movies either. He plays Jack Ryan in the Sum of All Fears, which was one of his better movies.

He is very handsome and I like him in some movies and not others. I definitely think Matt is the better of the two, but those square jawed guys get you every time.
