Jae  !!!Addy shows no scratches. She cornered it behind the shed, it was reared up but not doing a whole lot, and Addy barked madly to alert us (I now recognize her 'I got something cornered' bark) or maybe to scare 'it', then got the grab on it behind the neck. She was proud of herself. trotted around "the winners circle" and kept it away from us for some time, though she doesn't try to eat it. Chester definitely thinks Addy is a stoopid mutt. Addy will try to play with Chester and he sort of flops and gets slobbered on until throughly disgusted, then runs away  Don't remember if I posted here but we confirmed that a squirrel can and will take a green peach off a tree and carry it off. | She deserved her winner's lap!!! I just hope she knows enough to avoid those claws. Those creatures are nasty when cornered. Too funny about Chester!!! Squirrels can carry those huge Black Walnuts which are heavier than peaches. They are wiley buggers. |

WOW Look at that last shot.  We have some wildlife in the yard.  Ric saw some digging in one of the beds and said he thought it was a skunk digging for grubs. I told him yep I smelled it the other night when I went out on the front porch to carry something out to the car. Came right back inside as I didn't want to have a misunderstand with a Skunk in the dark. Life is Great! | She was pretty close... probably about 12-15 feet away. They are well acclimated to people at Big Meadows. Instead of running after perfection, why not simply walk in faith? |

| Neato! Reminds me of ... We saw a deer in Gunpowder State Park once, as we rode in the car...and wanted to lure it closer, but scrounging in the car only came up with a donut.
