I soaked some of my Canna seeds last night and hoping to get them potted up over the weekend. I am trying passion flower for the first time and thinking they may be tricky. My begonias will be next then impatiens and petunias.
It happens in a flash, but the memory of it last forever. It can not be borrowed or stolen, and it is of no earthly good until it is given away. So if in your hurry you meet someone who is too weary to smile, leave him one of yours, for no one needs a smile quite as much as he who has none to give...
Ronnie, I saved some dwarf red canna seeds from a plant I got at last years swap. I'm thinking about starting some too. Can't remember who gave me the plant, but it turned out to be a winner.

Cannas are actually pretty easy, I don't get flowers until later but that's OK. It's the first time for PF, I have the one that is supposed to be hardy here, I want to try them on my pergola.
This is a peach canna started from seed last year.

I have paper cups on the tops of the lower windows and on the window sills in my dining room. I have all sorts of little pots on the window sill of my kitchen. I have 4 covered domes and 4 take out containers under lights in my basement. Where am I going to put all the transplants when they outgrow their "seedling" homes. Who's going to water all this stuff? How long will it take?
I also have about 30 winter sow containers that I don't need to do anything with until I plant them in spring. I will continue putting the cartons outside.
I fixed my dirty floor problem... I bought one of those under bed containers for shoes... and filling the trays in that.. made it much easier & cleaner

That's a great idea Allison. Rebloomnut not has a cubit for Gardening tips. She just opened a quick tip thread. You should take that tip international!

Good idea Allison!
I potted up my Cannas this morning and did my begonias yesterday. Wanted to do the petunias and coleus today but forgot I had to work!! Too tired now and I want to read for a while...never enough hours in the day!
