Ronnie, I really think that you did the best thing for Diesel and you should feel good about that. I know that it's hard, but he really might be much happier in his new home.  Yes, there are a few odd things about the DG County Fair. Taters submitted a pumpkin cookie recipe. After I voted for it, I went back and went to copy it so I could try it. Once you vote for them, you can't access them any longer. I had to ask her her on our Halloween craft thread to post it here for me. That is very weird to me and I think counterproductive to DG's goals. Yeah, the cranberries in the farm animals got to me too. Some of the other categories were close and I noticed that people posted the same item in two categories. I also wasn't sure if the category was for say pets, should the photo have people in them. I say this because I notice that the pet threads that have photos of pets with kids in them, those photos always seem to win. I'd rather see the animals by themselves. |

| I'd rather see the animals by themselves too. Lou just got in and said Diesel was fine and remembered the rescue mom and got right in her car. I don't know if that makes me happy or sad....Did he forget me that fast   It happens in a flash, but the memory of it last forever. It can not be borrowed or stolen, and it is of no earthly good until it is given away. So if in your hurry you meet someone who is too weary to smile, leave him one of yours, for no one needs a smile quite as much as he who has none to give... |

| Ronnie I'm sorry Diesel didn't find his forever home with you, but he certainly loved the time you spent together. Sometimes it takes a couple of placements to get a good "fit" -- hopefully he will do better at his new place. You went above & beyond trying to work things out, and you gave him a ton of love & care... so don't you go trying to feel guilty or anything! I know you'll miss him, and he'll miss you, but this does sound like a better situation for both of you. Circles of Support for Breast Cancer I'm learning to dance in the rain!
