A quick update on my sister's Ovarian cancer...she has finished her treatment and things are looking good except for a small spot on her right breast. Unfortunately since she had never had a mamo before they don't have any comparison films to look at. Since she has the OVC they can't take any chance so she needs to see a surgeon and most likely have a biopsy . Her appointment is June 21st. This is a bit of a setback for her moving...she won't qualify for state insurance in TN so now they have to look into something different and will definitely have to sell the house first to have money to buy the insurance or pay the doctor. Very frustrating for all concerned. I told my niece I would do what I could but summer is going to be hard, I am going to watch the girls full time and have Domenic one or two days too...then the puppy...yikes don't know how far I can stretch, not something I was expecting ![]() It happens in a flash, but the memory of it last forever. Sure hoping for the best that can be for all concerned. Ugh, this puts the house sale into urgency too, eh? You need a hug, or a huge fudge brownie and glass of wine. "If you bring joy and enthusiasm to everything you do, people will think you're crazy" W. Haelfeli, New Yorker cartoon |

I'll take the hug and the brownie but will trade the wine for a shot of "Old Grandad" ![]() It happens in a flash, but the memory of it last forever. Thanks for the new thread, Ronnie. ![]() Oh gosh, poor Beth. If it's not one thing, it's another, and they're all BIG things. Hope it all works out for her. ![]() Enjoy sipping your Old Grand-Dad! ![]() Breathe in, Breathe out...Move on - Jimmy Buffett |
