It happens in a flash, but the memory of it last forever. It can not be borrowed or stolen, and it is of no earthly good until it is given away. So if in your hurry you meet someone who is too weary to smile, leave him one of yours, for no one needs a smile quite as much as he who has none to give...

Hoping we all keep our power and stay safe with this new storm approaching...yikes it's just the begining of my least favorite season, not even winter yet Whistling

I've been watching my DILs niece and I must say she is such a good baby Thumbs up very pleasant and really keep herself occupied. I don't know how these working moms do it everyday...getting kids ready so early and dragging them to sitters or daycare...so glad I was able to be home and especially glad I can be here for my GD kids so they can feel like they are home Lovey dubby

Pretty Holly, looks like you had a great time! I really like the yellow one Thumbs up

Absolutly beautiful yesterday and today. Got all the cannas cut down and a lot of clean up done, still have to dig up some of them. Been trying to keep Winston in the yard, he has become a fence jumper so had to rig up some extra fencing. It doesn't look pretty but will do the job for now. We may put up a higher one in the spring if there is anything leftover after paying the taxes Whistling

Luvs, We had a Dobie that could jump our 4th fence. He actually jumped onto the top board and would walk down it like a cat would. We strung chicken wire on poles to extend the fence another 2ft or so. Looked like Sh*t but did the job.

Oh it was just a great trip. I will post more pics for you later. I got some nice bird shots and UW shots. We had a great experience. A 10ft male dolphin swam into our group. We had just started to gather a bit closer together when this dolphin swam into the group went around the group and looked at each of us in the face swimming around kind of figure eight in and around the group looking at each person then off he went. When my dive partner MB first saw this big grey body her first thought was shark because it is so very rare to see a dolphin like this. No one even the dive master had ever seen a dolphin while diving. Thumb of 2012-11-12/HollyAnnS/e4f041

Sounds like another great trip, Holly. I'm finally home from babysitting and no longer have any house guests that were without power. It was such a beautiful day today that I spent all day outside poking around without exerting too much energy. The two youngest grandsons and I were practically pajama and house bound all week while we nursed our sinus/cough/cold congestions. The dahlias are dug up and put into a black plastic bag. All the small bushes that were uprooted by the storm are back up. I am so thrilled with the loads of strained topsoil and rabbit/goat manure that my neighbor keeps dumping into the corner of the property!! So many things are easier when the soil is handy. I potted up the brug cuttings from Gita that were waiting for me in water when I got home!! Hope I do right by them. Thanks, Gita.

Roses, Sounds like you may get a short break. I will be starting back to work for a month or so. I go in on Friday for orientation and start working on Sun. Don't expect to do much after that starts.
