Wow, thanks for the tips. Sheryl--how cool--Unfortunately -this time- We've already booked it way back in February. We take a day and a half to get to Bermuda, then have most of one day plus the next morning for on shore. We plan to keep moving and see things the first day, the second is kind of short and we may just stay. closer to the Dockyard, go to that skorkel area/ beach. Its only a five day cruise, we figured we'd see how we like it and if anybody doesn't we won't be stuck as long--plus short cruise = less $ than long. On Bermuda you can use american dollars. I do need to call and get approved to use ATMs there just in case...When I went ot Rome I called and notifies them I'd be over there--they neglected to advise me that I neeeded APPROVAL / special ID # to use an ATM there!!! I got to thehotel in a a semi dramatic fashion, and then later that morning on our first walking tour we stumbled right into the American Express office!. I think I'd take New Zealand. I read a book called Honeymoon with my Brother about two guys who do some serious traveling when one of them gets left at the altar. Pretty interesting. They did Africa last and admitted they were roughing it but it seemd especially rough LOL. But then poor Africa needs support so badly...
