Visiting Africa via Cruise ship is not roughing it. Just don't eat or drink anything obtained on shore. Make sure to visit your local traveler's health services for the proper immunizations about 4 months before you depart. They'll give you a WHO card with your shot records to carry with your passport for rentry into the US or any connecting countries. Africa is the # 1 spot that can get you booked into quarantine at our and other nation's customs points.  |
