| We used to have a country western club nearby where everybody was doing the "boot scoop" and other country dances, but that has since become something else. There also used to be a place right near here that had dancing every weekend, but it was an older set, and I mean Older. My GF and I went one time, I was about 50, and she was 60 and we were the two youngest people in the place  . They were all doing line dances.I haven't been out to the night spots in a long time. There is a restaurant in Collegeville, Pa, called DaVincis. On the weekends they have bands and people dance. It's mixed types of music. Depending on the bands, it could be anything from the 50's through the 90's. The crowd seems to be mostly over 30. Jean wearing is very big there. |
