Name: Critter (Jill)
I was on our high school rifle team -- letter jacket & everything. I tried out for the team mostly because I thought it would be interesting to learn to shoot a gun. I was shocked when I made the first cut... and I had no idea I'd made the team... I was stopping by to thank the coach for the time he'd taken with me and just about fell over when he said "congratulations!" LOL It's not the most jock-like of sports, but I had a great time.

There were only a couple of girls on the team my first year, but by the time I was a senior, half our team was girls. That was at a time when most teams had no girls... so of course we all wore out tightest jeans on match days, too see if we could distract the competition. ;-) We'd be getting off the bus, and guys from the other team would come up an enviously ask the guys on our team how they managed to get girls to come along and cheer them on... our guys got a huge kick out of telling them not only are those actual team members, but that chick with the long blond hair is our star shooter!
