| ok here is how to make a raised spot light fixture (a new addition to the light show this year.. it will light up our big guys singing on the line above the lawn) lamp cord  standard lamp socket  strip the casing  attach to socket  tape each connection first with electrical tape and then the whole shebang  lamp cord plug (found at lowes)  the metal prong pulls out to attach wires  strip back the other end of the wire and attach to the screws and tape tape tape as before pvc flange from the toilet section (drill a hole in the top section of the flange to let water out)  we brought the bulb with us to make sure it had the fit we wanted  attach the bulb to socket  thread the cord through the flange  pull the bulb snug  run a bead of hot glue to waterproof  thread the cord into pvc pipe and attach the flange (can hot glue under if you wish)  attach several skulls with lights up pole to make it look cool... and will dance with the music will show you how we did those later  |
